How text consent works

Orion Web Design sends a text only to people who call our business line, (618) 590-5100, and ask for one. This page documents the exact opt-in flow so anyone can verify it.

The opt-in, step by step

1. The consumer calls us. Our number, (618) 590-5100, is published on orionwebhq.com and in our email signatures. We never text anyone who has not called first, and we never use purchased lists.
2. If no one can answer, an automated prompt plays. The caller hears, word for word:
   "Thanks for calling Orion Web Design. We can't pick up right now. If you'd like one text with our contact details, say yes or press 1 now. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time. Otherwise, leave a message after the tone and we'll call you back."
3. The caller chooses. Pressing 1 or saying "yes" is consent to receive one text. Silence, any other key, or "no" means no text is sent; the caller can simply leave a voicemail.
4. Consent is recorded. Our system logs the caller's number, the date and time, and the choice made, for every call.
5. One text is sent to callers who opted in (below). After that, we only reply to messages the caller sends us.
